#2 sounds horrible, if you don't mind me saying: a break is a break.
#5 sounds cool: it's actually very easy to pick up the guitar (or learn any popular skill) nowadays, since so many people post excellent tutorials online. Ditto for #10: there are so many onlie resources that self-learning is viable, and the expense of paying an instructor can be spared. Having said that, learning in a group can be fun.

Read, read, read! And start writing your future bestselling blog-anecdotes-turned-into-a-book novel (which I know is just an expansion of #8 in your list).
Cook more, if you enjoy that sort of thing. I would if I kept a real kitchen.
mama mia: I don't intend to sleep away 6 months, but it is an attractive option.
wahj: I do have to work at some point otherwise I will lose my skills...and I need the money!

tym: I just finished reading 'Eragon' by Christopher Paolini. I have now come to the conclusion that my writing skill is not quite up to par if it can't even match that of a 15 year old. I need a sensei, or something.
